Street Photography – Just a fun way to spend the day….
So it’s the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and I am thinking of two different ways I could spend the day…. Go to the coast and enjoy photographing the ocean, or go into Portland and enjoy photographing the Sunday crowd down there.
Decisions, Decisions
If I go to the coast, I’d prefer it to be void of people and just focus on getting some beautiful coastal nature shots. But it’s Labor Day weekend, so there is bound to be a fair amount of people there enjoying their 3-day weekend away from the city.
If I go to Portland, then I’ll want lots of people there and have fun capturing them with some street photography…. The only problem may be that everyone will be out of town… yes, enjoying the 3-day weekend.
Portland, It Is!
I take my chances and head down to the city. Man, I couldn’t have been happier. As I exit off the 405 and make my way down Burnside, I see plenty people in town this day, enjoying the beautiful early fall temperatures. Out walking their dogs; riding their bikes and just enjoying their Sunday.
So that’s what I did. I enjoyed the afternoon, just taking photographs of different characters as they made it through their day in the city.
