Last night I was able to get down to the strip for an unexpected street shoot with my good friend and photographer, Garrett Winslow. (his mug featured on the right)
We boldly started out, not long before sunset. It would be an exercise in low light shooting armed only with a couple of cameras. We had no speedlites, no flashes, no tripods… Ha, those are for sissys! (not really, we just didn’t bring any)
You know, when I first started doing street photography in Las Vegas, I was a little bummed that we didn’t maintain a more historic look, keeping architecture in tact from past generations. But the more I get out there, the more I really appreciate what the city has to offer the photographer.
Here are a few shots from last night. Hope you enjoy!
