Shadows in Boudoir

I love the mystery that shadows add to a photo. I like the fact that you don’t see everything. It’s not lit so that the whole story is exposed, it leaves some sense of wonder.

Flat lighting or beauty lighting is very popular these days, but I really love images like this where the lack of light is just as important as the lit areas. It’s the same way in music… the space is just as important as the notes.
