I was over in Arizona last weekend spending time with my family. My daughter, Celeste and I were able to spend some time at the Mission San Xavier, getting a few shots. It was really a great time, and wow, what a beautiful place! Classic structure and architecture with ornate detail, all beautifully done.
For the whole trip I brought the Fuji X-Pro2 and a number of lenses and of course the X100T, but for this particular outing I just grabbed the X-Pro2, put on the XF 16mm and left it on the whole day. Great combination for this kind of shooting.
It was mid day sun, very harsh, so for the most part the outdoor shots were all shot at ISO 200, small apertures, high shutter speeds. But for the one of Celeste on the hill overlooking the mission I opened the 16mm wide open at 1.4.
The interior shots were all high ISO. Usually around 2500 on up to 5000.
Anyway, Celeste and I had a great time and here are a few shots I got that day. (click for bigger)
