It Smells Like a Used Bookstore!

September 23, 2015 By Ted Leave a Comment

noah-bookstore-1That was one of the first things that Noah said to me as we walked in to Dragon Castle Books, a used bookstore over on N. Rainbow. And it did. You know that great smell of old books, especially when you’re surrounded by them!? I love that smell!

I found a great book on the work of photographer, Howard S. Stern (not the celebrity/TV & radio personality). It was a book that was printed for a show in Texas which featured images that covered Stern’s work from 1928-1991. Some really great stuff.

But my favorite part of the visit was watching Noah. The intent and curiosity. He really enjoyed the experience. Found a pretty nice book on dinosaurs (which he’s barely put down since he got it) and another fun book – Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

Here are some more shots that I got of Noah during our visit. Click for bigger ๐Ÿ™‚
