Of all of my photography, most of my favorite images are candid shots of real moments. Here are a few of those types of shots featuring one of my favorite subjects; my 6yr old nephew, Noah. He’s in the process of designing a new board game for us to play. These are the images that after all is said and done, will be the most important images to look back on as the years go by.
Having an uncle that’s a photographer, Noah can get a little tired (annoyed?) of me trying to document every occasion. When he sees the photos later he likes them and I know he’ll really appreciate them later in life, but in the moment, he can get a little tired of the camera. Luckily, the Fujifilm X100’s leaf shutter is so silent I can just set the camera on the table and click away without making a sound or disturbing the moment.
Without my x100 I would never been able to get photos like these. It allows me to capture the moment, be in the moment and not disturb the moment – all at the same time.
