When I was thinking about switching from Canon to Fujifilm I knew this lens would be a key factor in the decision process. For my client work, I do a lot of portraiture, boudoir and head shots. I needed a lens of this focal length, wide aperture for a very shallow depth of field, and beautiful image quality.
The 56mm f1.2 is an amazing lens from Fuji. It convinced me that going over to Fujifilm was going to be a great move. I’m VERY glad I shoot Fuji now and I’ve never looked back! 🙂
