I originally had no plans on buying an X-Pro2.
Since I picked up the X-T1 a few months ago I’ve been shooting pretty much everything with that camera, even my street photography, which I usually would’ve shot with my X100 or X100T.
Then I got the TCL tele conversion lens for the X100 series. This made me get back out their with the X100T to do some street shooting. I really loved the experience of shooting with that camera and the conversion lens. It really reminded me how much I enjoyed the rangefinder style, especially for that kind of work.
That started me thinking about the X-Pro2. Then the camera actually started shipping and a lot of photographers started sharing their images and thoughts on the new Fuji camera. Wow, the detail and quality in the shots kind of got me drooling again (like I did when I first saw the X-Pro2 promo videos).
I decided to go down to a local camera shop, B&C Camera here in Vegas. Amazingly, they had three X-Pro2s in stock. Long story short, the camera sat beside me on the way back home that afternoon.
