Faces in the Dark

You know what I love!? When a mistake turns out to be a very cool thing.

I love creativity, and sometimes it’s the unexpected that produces the most creative results.

I went out with Geneva last night to get some night shots. Shooting in these low (almost no) light conditions requires the use of some nicely placed off-camera flash to provide enough light. So this means I was triggering the flash wirelessly from the camera.

Now, from time to time, gear decides it’s not going to talk to each other. What this translates to is that you click the shot, but the flash doesn’t… well, doesn’t flash.

That was the happy accident that helped produce these two kind of cool shots. Just something kind of different. I like that. ๐Ÿ™‚
