Exploration Photography – I’ve been driving around the area I’ve moved to, Southern Washington. Exploring, seeing what’s around that might be interesting, photographically. I’ve been to Portland a few times, Rainier, OR; Centralia, WA and of course the coast.
Exploring
Last week I explored a little more, but… I really didn’t even have to leave town (well, practically). I went driving around the town of Kelso, WA. Now, you’d be hard-pressed to see where Longview stops and Kelso begins. It’s that kind of thing. Two small towns that just run together.
Back To YesterYear
Longview and Kelso both have preserved the last-century style of architecture; both in their homes and businesses. Driving around Kelso last week I found one street that had just too much photogenic subjects to not stop and make some photos.
South Pacific Ave
South Pacific Avenue. Particularly the Kelso Theater Pub and Backstage Cafe and surrounding buildings. I was in heaven.
