I was a little kid in the 1960’s, but the photography I saw from that decade, as well as the early ’70s really made an great impression on me. I know that the look and feel of that era’s photography makes it’s way into my shots, even if in just a subtle way.
Photographer, David Bailey
One of the photographers that grew prominent in the ’60s was English photographer, David Bailey. He was hired by Vogue to do some work for them and quickly ended up changing the look of fashion photography.
Here are a couple videos I saw on YouTube today, to give you more of an idea of what David Bailey brought to the industry and the art world of photography.
